About JC&C

Tony and Andréa Johnson are partners in Johnson Construction & Consulting (JC&C). Both have worked in the construction industry for over 30 years on building projects ranging from tenant improvements to major construction. Together, Tony and Andréa have the knowledge, experience, skill and ability to manage construction projects from pre-design thru construction and occupancy. As a minority firm with the education, construction experience and project successes accomplished by Tony and Andréa, JC&C is uniquely qualified to provide WMBE inclusion planning and support.

Tony Johnson – President

Tony founded JC&C in 2010 after a 20 year career working in the Commercial Division at Lease Crutcher Lewis as a Project Manager and Superintendent. While working for Lewis, Tony built some of the premier projects in the Seattle area including the Second and Seneca Building, Pacific Place, Bellevue City Hall, UW Law School and Garfield High School. During his career, Tony has developed a network of relationships with DBE, WBE, MBE and Native American subcontractors and apprentices. Tony is familiar with the obstacles WMBE/DBE subcontractors face in achieving success in bidding projects and executing the work. Since starting JC&C, Tony has worked to support WMBE/DBE subcontractors and their participation in the construction industry.

Andréa Johnson – Chief Operating Officer

Andréa joined Tony as a partner in the firm in 2014. Andréa brings years of experience working in the design and construction industry and holds a Master Degree in Construction Management. Having represented owners, architects and general contractors at the Project Manager, Director and Executive Director levels, Andréa has managed all aspects of the design and construction process. Her project experience includes major new construction, small works and tenant improvements on a variety of commercial projects including educational facilities, hospitals, laboratory, office and retail. For the past nine years, Andréa served as the Executive Director of Facilities and then Capital Construction at Highline School District. She administered the Capital Facilities Improvement Plan for the 2002 and 2006 bonds which included the planning, design and construction of 13 new elementary schools, Mount Rainier High School and the new Aviation High School.
